I just bought a 1930 deluxe delivery
Hi guys,
I just bought a 1930 deluxe delivery. I am hoping to get some information. How many of these deliveries were produced in 1930? Are the rear fenders delivery only? I am missing the rear door hinges. Can anyone get me some photos and dimensions of the rear door hinges? i welcome any and all information on this car. thanks |

Re: I just bought a 1930 deluxe delivery
the rear fenders are the same as 30-31 sedan or Victoria fenders. however there was a dimple added to the fenders in March of 31.

Re: I just bought a 1930 deluxe delivery
I restored my 1930 deluxe delivery in the early 80s and it's been driven 47,000 miles on tours since. It now has a modified model B engine and was awarded first place at a receint regional meet. 30-31 deliveries are the ultimate tour cars as you can take everything with you and stll have room for purchases along the way.

Great find! Am I correct in thinking there is a lot of wood in that inner framework? Bob

Re: I just bought a 1930 deluxe delivery
Are you going to need to replace the body wood structure on your new delivery? That's what my Deluxe Delivery needs, but I'm still looking for wood pieces and patterns. Somebody has got to have replaced the wood on their Delivery, and has the old wood neatly stacked in the rafters! If you replace your old wood, please keep me in mind.
