Here is a rare opportunity to purchase a dry, unmolested Unibody. Out of a small farming community in south central Nebraska, the truck was purchased from the previous owners father in 1965 with just under 25,000 miles on it. The truck was driven every day, 6 miles a day for 40 years until the previous owner passed in late 2003. The truck is currently located in Denver Colorado where it has been mechanically gone through by Ryan Timmons at Ryans Rod Service. The engine has been flushed and tastefully cleaned. A new 2 brl. Holley carburetor and a fuel tank flush has also been done. Included in the tuneup are new points, wires and spark plugs to make the original 292 Y block run like new. The 3 on the tree shifts well and the brakes work with confidence. With the new set of Excelsior Comp V tires, this truck has the classic patina of the old farm truck from down the road, yet runs like it was just purchased new off the showroom floor. A few small areas of corrosion have been placed into the Photobucket link below. The bed is extremely dry, just a few small pin holes in front of each wheel well. There are no stress cracks in the bed. The doors are very solid. There are a few small holes in the passenger step well. Restore or leave as is, this solid of a Unibody rarely comes up for sale. Clear Nebraska title. PHOTOS--- http://s291.photobucket.com/albums/l...20Ford%20F100/ $5,500 obo Please call Phil at 970 819 5159 |
