I have a Gemmer 2 tooth, no idea length or how to accurately measure.

My steering column is chrome plated, some rust, and needs to be restored, yet I see most posts with black steering columns and nickel throttle and spark controls, cadmium clamps. Is my column supposed to be black or chrome to be original?

My car is a mix of early and mid 1930 parts Engine/frame says May 1930, body parts and sequence Briggs numbers indicate more like Sept. 1930.

I have been looking at the MARC judging book and not finding chrome steering column, but maybe it is somewhere?

The column is supposed to be painted black etc. as you stated in your searches. Grant
