Well got some new shoes in the old gal and got tags and insurance on and drove it around a little. Stopped at a local Vietnam vet my Friend knew that wanted to see the car as he's father had one just like it. Brought back some good times and memories for him.

What's not to like? Great story. Solid car gone to a good home, it seems.

had a great weekend, drove the car about 200 miles Saturday for a little get together with some great friends. was the first time driving the 36 anywhere. she did great. still have to tinker with it some. seems when it was at operating temp and in low gears it wanted to flutter or hesitate. had to find sweet spot in the pedal and would be ok. when cruising 55-60 had no problem at all. then Monday the daughter and I needed to take it out again so went to dairy queen for some ice cream.

Beautiful car, I've always loved the looks of '36 Ford coupes. Please re-route those front brake lines to avoid disaster. Best of luck with it.

Took the 36 out for a quick ride and to snag some pictures. Also had my parents down and of course had to take them for a ride.

It's hard to beat a '35 or '36 Ford Coupe. You have landed a beauty, love the car!! It will make a nice stable mate for your Model A.

Good to see those pics. Looks like everyone was able to have a little holiday fun. Nice that your community organized that parade; outdoor car parades are one of the few safe thing that can be done now.

Very nice 1936 Ford Five Window Coupe. You are a very lucky man to own this great looking old Ford V8.

Taking off if it stutters, just pull the choke a bit. It'll level it out. It might be running a little lean or cold. pull the plugs and clean. Cool ride.

Looks like you're really enjoying that '36! I can relate to your enthusiasm after getting my '35 a month ago. Nice looking and enjoy the ride!!

Very, very cool. Welcome aboard. Besides the brake lines, I wouldn't change a thing. Enjoy it and keep us posted.
