Radio in '41 Pickup?

Thinking of installing one...anyone out there have a photo of a factory installation in the dash? Is the speaker part of the radio chassis?

I am nearly 100% certain there was no factory installed radio offered.

Kube is correct, there were no factory radios in the pickups. If you need a radio you can mount it inside the glove box or under the dash. You can buy an ABS mount that allows you to mount it under the dash. They can be found on e-Bay. When I put a radio in an old Ford I mount it in the upper portion of the glove box. That leaves the lower portion still available for use. It's also out of sight. Cutting holes in dashboards is a big "no, no" for me.

Might consider a completely hidden radio with a remote control.

Put it under the seat and hide the speakers in the kick panels.
No antenna needed.
Lots of radio stations stream their signal.

I have a round dial radio in the center of the dash of my 47 1/2 ton. The truck is in my shed awaiting some kind of restoration. It is a great looking period piece like the beautiful 'under the dash' one just posted. The dash has already been cut and it appears to have been done professionally perhaps by the dealer with templates. The truck's engine is seized, but the wiring looks great so I have always wanted to put a 6v battery in it and try the radio. There is an AM station not too far away that likes old country, and I hope it's kind of static. Maybe this is the incentive I need and I'll get a picture of it tomorrow.

Many radios of that time came with cables and a small round dial. The head was on the steering column or nearby and the box was on the firewall. The box had the speaker.
I'm with others: I like to hear the engine and the road sounds. I go nuts while shifting my Model A in a tunnel: I can't hear the engine.
