Default 34 ford cabriolet

I'm going to look at a 34 cabriolet to buy.. Should the title read cabriolet on it or just 2door.or something else. What range of serial numbers should it have? Maybe somebody with a cabriolet would help with this. Thanks

Each state and probably each auto reg clerk in each state seemed to ID differently. Could be 2-door or conv or maybe even roadster or could be blank. If it's tudor or 4-door maybe something got changed over the years.

The number should be something between "18 457478" to "18 1234356". Sometimes the "18" is not on the title but should be on the frame.

With titles you are never sure what you will find and could have been legally/officially changed by the state at some point.

I dito Barn Junk, and the title "May" be marked with the model number 40-760, "May be not". Look for the frame number to match the title. The frame number should start with a *(five point star) and end with the star, and there should be a dash(-) between the 18 and the rest of the number, this is true of the number in front of the steering box, on top of the frame only.
