1935 Experimental intake
Saw this listed on EBAY. I am guessing its 1935 because of the prefix in the part number.Seller claims his friend bought it at a special auction at Ford Museum in Dearborn in the 80's.No fuel pump provisions.Kingston Carb.

wonder what they did for a fuel pump and why the vac plate under the carb. That set up might be a real bear with vapor lock with what appears to be the feed pipe location at the bottom of the float chamber.............

With YOUR example having no fuel pump provision, it might easily fit in with an "airframe-mounted" fuel pump system. Just a wild-assed possibility for your manifold's original intention.
