drove 70 miles to a real cool race

i had to rush to get the model a back together to make it on time, about 6 hrs to rebuild the tranny and get it back into the car, then got in it and drove to Bruderhiem Alta. to watch the model races.
my wife and i did the 70 mile round trip and spent the afternoon at the event.
pretty cool prehistoric race cars, all model T based, no safety equipment, they just went for it.

the model a did a pretty good job of gettin us there. it showed me a few areas that need some attention.
