Back in the early '70's we had a junkyard in Calif. that was full of 1957 Chevy's, seems we were there every other week-end getting parts.
That yard disappeared decades ago when the City past a law, deciding in their great wisdom that junkyards were an eyesore, funny I don't remember voting on that one. The yard may be long gone, but the car still remains with us.

Does anyone remember Bunches yard in Escalon Calif? He used a model A Wrecker all chained up. Great place and Great Memories!

Turners Wrecking Yard in Fresno CA..100 acres,over 10000 cars.A fire destroyed the true gold there,butler sheds full of pre war stuff,early speed equipment..a must see for any car guy,its amazing
