Default King Seeley fuel senders

Are all the 6v King Seeley fuel senders for 37-55 Ford cars and trucks the same except for variations in the float arms?

They should be. I'm more familiar with post war and they are the same basic units with appropriate float arms for different tank depth applications.

The way they are "clocked" in the tank might be different on some. 2 of the screw holes are closer to each other so they only go in the tank 1 way, and I have seen tank units where the float arm worked 90 degrees from my 40 Ford ones. I believe they were for truck or panel gas tanks. Most ARE the same though.
