Re: Red spark plug wires
I bought my last set of boots, end terminals and wire from these guys. Excellent quality and lots of configurations. Taylor's products available from a number of the major speed suppliers. I got mine from Summit Racing, if memory serves.
http://www.taylorvertex.com/spark-plugs/ They have cloth covered wire if you want original colors: http://www.taylorvertex.com/spark-pl...iro-pro-wires/ I used crimp-on terminals: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/tay-46061/overview/ The silicone boots are excellent -- no shocks!! John

Re: Red spark plug wires
Lenny, Be sure to call and ask if the plug wires are compatible with your electronic distributor if that is what you are using. For instance, I couldn't use solid copper core plug wires on my Mallory electronic distributor. I am using the Taylor Spiro Pro wires kit #73251. been on the car 11 years with no problems. You cut the wires and install ends to fit your set up. To make crimping easy also buy the MSD Mini-Stripper-Crimper Tool Part# 3503. Taylor also sells the same crimper Part # 43395. It cost a few dollars more but probably comes out the same with shipping and tax so buy it all from one supplier.
Here's the Taylor site: http://www.taylorvertex.com/product-...=220779&sID=53 Last edited by 19Fordy; 01-23-2017 at 11:49 AM. |
