Default wiper for S/W

Replacing the wrong vacuum wiper motor with the correct one, what is the orientation, bowl up? bowl down? any photos from inside would help. thanks

Bowl up with the vacuum connection on the RH side.

With an original Model A wiper, (electric or vacuum), and trying it out while driving in an all day heavy, storm driven rain, you may ....... or may not ....... find it helpful to pull up under a gas station with an overhead canopy, and take out a roll of paper towels to first clean the windshield using a small bottle of "Windex" and followed by an application of "Rain-X".

But ......... just a friendly Model A thought for driving in a rain storm !

Mine must have been installed up side down by the previous owner! I've left it like I found it.

I do the Rain X but I still want to plug the hole in the header. Just got the right wiper motor from A and L in Conn.
thinking that the bowl went down made it confusing with the inlet on the left. with the photo and doc provided now make sense.
now all I need is the sunvisors.

Always good to have a "mounted" Model A windshield wiper .... whether currently functional or non-functional ..... to accompany "Rain-X" ...... "if" ever driving in the rain.

Just think .... one (1) accident .... during rain .... no wiper ..... coupled with a ten (10) cents an hour Trial Lawyer ...... and a typical 2016 jury's final decision on driving in the rain "without" a windshield wiper.

Who's fault was it that you could not clearly "see" that drunk coming ... and running the stop sign .... while he was texting his girl friend waiting for him at Wal-Mart?

My Grandfather would say you had to have a wiper, it had to work, but no one said you had to use it. He was an old swamp yankee.
