i have a 36 21 stud and going to get a 37 21 stud motor, i think it is good to have a few extra laying around the house!

I have two 8BA's. I'm currently looking for another Good buildable 8BA. Would also like to have a back up 59AB for the 39. The one 8BA that checks out good @ the usual 2/3 cylinder area valve to cylinder crack, but getting it cleaned and tested will tell.

Most of the blocks do have THE CRACKS and it's depressing, but the search continues. I will stop looking when I have 2 good 8BA's and a 59AB.

47, I have an 8BA that after cleaning the carbon and gasket material noticed cylinder 2+3 sleeved and somekind of repair to the usual crack between the valve and cylinder

. I'm curious if it's a factory repair or by a machine shop. Not sure if it's even rebuildable any more.

I have a 41 still together and it turns. I got 5 last summer and I have more spares than I need. I would sell the 41 $350, complete less the carb and starter, PM me.

I'm ok on my CI factor, in fact a couple over and thats not counting all the pistons and jugs on the shelf for old VW's

YIKES! According to nelsb01's CI, I'm 23 cylinders short! Three more flathead V8's would make me good through 2012. (Gotta love the Cylinder Index)

I don't have any flathead V-8 engine but have a nice 34 4 banger and two model T engins. I do know where there was about 20 blocks sitting the fellow pass away so I will check on them.

I need to get home and take a count. I think the number is 16 and may pick up #17 next month. Most of these are not really spares, it's part of the fun (sickness). I buy every one that crosses my path if the condition and price is good. Some have even been given to me since many of my friends know I am a class 5 hoarder

Just one now. An 8ba that I just rebuilt and made a 59 a-b out of it. 59 a-b cam, timing gears, 2 bolt cover, crank pulley, pumps and truck bell so it will bolt to the 46-48 transmission. Purrs on the test stand. Now, what to do with it?? Could easily convert back to an 8ba. John

I have one spare '33 V8 engine I would like to sell. Engine has been disassembled and block hot dipped and cleaned. Very good solid block...needs babbet or inserts. Let me know if you are interested in another spare engine.

I have 3-59 ab's, One with merc crank (all new, built 276 inch) 1. 302 v8, 2. 351's v8, both built with hot cams. 1. 460 big block also built, lots of head work, no cam yet. lots of parts for flatheads, and can't stop getting more all the time, can't stop, just pick a good pan off the web, don't need, it have several. ..Bubbas two for one deal, ie.. I sent 12 buildable 21a crabs, dist. in trade for service on 4 more crabs, looked ok to bolt on and run, just service (lube and adj.) and return, and plus some parts. He is happy and I am very happy. Thats most of it,.... now are you happy, SHADETREE.?? ...... OLD....BILL
