Thank you Larson, it’s amazing how much fun and enjoyment I get out of my two cars.

Cannot even imagine when thinking of my friend Rhett’s collection, 240 cars, 140 of them 1933 and 1934Ford‘s, among those are 35 three window coupe’s, and I’m not kidding, I have been in the building with all of them.

I collected hit n miss engines for quite a few years. Now I have two. One rare big one and a run of the mill small one. Somehow it works out just fine.....

Some updates from this weekend:

Pulled the dash, so I could woodgrain it. Odd that they ran the passenger side Cowl light through the glove box mechanicals and hinges so that was fun trying to get that off without scratching everything. And pretty cool on the back of the dash was the sticker from the person that woodgrained it previously, so I had to look that up.

Did some rose etchings on the wind wings, came out pretty good.

And have the five tires and rims over at Peninsula tire, swapping out the Tacoma cream for black powder coated rims, I will put those on probably next weekend and will attach photos. Another thing I saw at some auction of some high-end 34s was the fire stone logo on the tires was painted yellow and red, I thought you could buy tires with that done already but apparently not. It has to be custom done so gonna research that because it looks really cool.

And then will be adding two gauges that I’ve had forever just waiting for a car to stick them into.

Got a chance to take it out and exercise it today, so attached shots of it with the black powder coated rims with Schrader valves, and the completed wood grained dash, with all the goodies on it

I was able to buy the side curtain rods from Wizzer Nick, so in a week or two I will put the top up with the side curtains on it for a whole different look

How about a photo shop of a pinstripe on those black rims?
