Default Houdaille shocks

How does one tell what year a Houdaille is? .I understand that there is a difference in the shock levers (length, shape, type of ends), but what about the main body of the shock?

Glenn,

That's a very useful catalog to have for visual identification of arms and links, but given its vintage, the illustrations of the shocks themselves are not representative of what the shock bodies looked like when they were used in production, Even if theriddler56 isn't seeking the production version of the shocks for his vehicle, finding the later service part substitute may prove more of a challenge than finding one of the production version.
