I was going to fly from California to Wisconsin this morning (Friday) to visit with family and attend, but alas, tested positive for the Dreaded Virus yesterday so had to scrub the mission. Damn!

Yes, the 25th anniversary of the Sharon Model A Day is this Sunday June 5th
in beautiful, historic Sharon Wisconsin. There will be music, food, fun skits,
fashion show, various vendors and a Model A Swap Meet. Commemorative
hats and coffee mugs will be for sale, a 50/50 drawing along with chances to
win a Model A alternator, rebuilt distributor, or a custom wooden coupe
replica made by Anne Laviolette...your choice. Registration is free and will
include a free goodie bag and a dash plaque. Your registration will also
include a free chance to win a wooden gas pump replica. Come on out and
enjoy the morning… 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Sorry to hear of you having your turn of getting sick and having to change all of your plans.

FYI, Sharon, WI would be a culture change over Cali and you may not wish to go home later..... Please plan on attending next year for our 26th Annual MAD..

Thanks ModelA for the kind words. So far my symptoms have been mild, thankfully. My wife got it about a month ago (picked it up at a conference in Philly and brought it back west) and she too sailed through.

I'm well aware of the delightful Midwest vibe - my daughter moved to Madison for grad school at UW and elected to stay after meeting and marrying the love of her life (local guy). Now they and the grandkids live south of Madison and we get to visit 3-4x/year. We do plan a week around July 4 (nice warm! weather), I should be well out of the woods by then.

Definitely planning to attend next year. I hope to have my Town Sedan restored by 2024 and drive it there - it originally came from Wisconsin and it would be a blast to drive it "home".
