Default Shout out to FlatHeadCoupe for Helping me with my Key Needs

Hey everyone, new to the fordbarn, but already had an awesome experience with FlatHeadCoupe down in North Carolina.

I was talking with a buddy out in Eastern PA and he mentioned that he had some key's made by John (FlatHeadCoupe) and it was a super simple process.

So, for anybody not following what i am saying, those that have a column drop with a key from the 30s and 40s (assume he would be able to do different years, so definitely worth asking) can get a key made very easily, and here is how.

drill out the bottom pin on the bottom of the column that holds the key cylinder in place. slide out the cylinder.

There should be a code on the side, the two (2) that i had had FK XXX

The XXX are the 3 digit code that allowed John to make the key.

Send John a message on here with the code you needed, and in a few days he will get you one in the mail. you then verify the key works, and then out of the kindness of your heart, you pay Him!

It was refreshing in todays world that somebody would actually send me the product before paying for it, try getting Amazon to do that!!!

Anyways, I highly recommend him for this service. I think he also does other things, but this is what i used him for, and very satisfied.

In fact, i have him making me a backup set of keys now since we verified that the first 2 cylinders worked.

thanks,

Eric
