Default 1936 tire cover a hubcap fit

Does a stock 36 hubcap fit on the steel tire cover? Thanks.

I don't think the steel tire cover will fit over the hubcap....

The hubcap should fit over the tire cover.

You could put a cap on the spare wheel and the band around the tread, but the big disc ain't gonna ride with that

I guess what I am trying to say is….does the hubcap push on the tire cover just like you would install it on the actual wheel. Or..does it push through the tire cover to the wide five wheel?

The cover is all one piece, No hubcap, the flip up polished dome covers the lock mechanism. It resembles the hubcap but isn't one. the tire bolts to the carrier, the disc goes on over that, the lock mech secures that big disc in place and the band goes over the whole shebang

The simple answer is that the wheel cap will not fit onto the spare tire cover disc. Regards, Kevin
