Model 48 carb queston
Is there a jet under the power valve on a 48 carb.. been awhile since I’ve worked on this spare, the power valve was out and this little jet was in the hole, but don’t think the hole is deep enough for the jet and power valve.?
No number on the questionable jet,, Don’t know what purpose it would serve,,Tks

Re: Model 48 carb queston
no jet under the power valve. there is just two pieces in the hole under the accelerator pump, one is the PV and the second is it's gasket. Post a photo of what is in there and we may be able to let you know where it came from. It is possible there is the remains of a broken PV with the head missing. If so it is possible to drill the remains and remove. Best done by someone like Charlie Schwindler.
