Got a plaque at a car show
I got a plaque, voted top 30 car out of about 200 cars. I had my December 7th Pearl Harbor theme going on. First time I ever won anything.

Re: Got a plaque at a car show
corvette8n, Congratulations. It's a real validation of the cool-ness of your car and a fun moment of recognition.
Use this opportunity to drop a butt-ton of pics please?

Re: Got a plaque at a car show
Congratulations! It feels good when other people appreciate your ride as much as you do. Especially when it's a 1941 Coupe.

Re: Got a plaque at a car show
Let's hear more about that Pearl Harbor theme. For people other than car geeks, presentation and context is everything. A nice 1941 Ford means nothing to most people compared to a car that is presented as a car owned by a family when Pearl Harbor was attacked.

Re: Got a plaque at a car show
Mother had a '41 coupe with the bucket seats. Learned to drive in it. Eventualy we both wrecked it in the same B pillar. Sad. Loved that car. I put th 8 channel radio in the car witih the floor button to change frequencies
