Default New to Early V8’s - 34 Fordor

I’m a new entrant into the Flathead V8 world. I just acquired a 1934 Fordor Deluxe and am in sponge mode trying to learn as much as possible before I take the girl too far afield. The Early V8 Club 33-34 Manual is sold out every where. Any other recommendations for good information sources on basic tricks and servicing info? I’m relatively well experienced with Model T’s and 60’s muscle cars but this is my first foray into “modern” pre war cars. The car has a history in the Early V8 world in the St Louis areas dating back to pre 2000 so someone may know the car and if so, let me know what you can. Thanks. Bruce

Welcome Bruce. You've a couple of gorgeous old Fords there, congratulations! You have found THE place with all the information you'll ever need. Lots of very knowledgeable people on here, some in particular are experts in the field of 33-34 Fords. You'll be made most welcome. I note you have managed to post photos in your very first post. Well done! a few members have trouble in that dept. Again, welcome! Brian

You should get this book if you don't already have it >

Also, you should join the Early Ford V8 Club and post on their Forum > https://www.earlyfordv8.org/

For all things mechanical get the 1932-1937 Ford Service Bulletin Book. Almost all of the V-8 parts vendors carry this book. Also you have a very nice '34 Fordor. Those are great tour cars.

Another great source if you like to read is the USB flash drive with 50 years of the Early Ford V8 Club magazine, the V8 Times: https://shop.efv8.org/collections/me...es-flash-drive
