I think lots of folks are not paying attention here, the OP is in the Netherlands. Parts may not be laying around like we have here in the USA, it probably needs to be fixed

Well understanding they are not that that rare is good too. I'm sure he knows there are complications having a old American ford in the Netherlands might be difficult to find parts. Not sure that constitutes giving bad solutions. Probably be fine

Not hard to straighten; always bend cold.

If you have to take it to a "professional"; beware which kind you chose. A blacksmith or agriculture dealer may be a better choice to straighten something like this than a auto repair shop.

Or like we did in old days, you could chain it from outside one perch bolt around a tree (we used a utility pole) to the other perch bolt and jack it straight with a porta power between the tree and center of the axle. Kinda undoing the bend opposite how it was bent.

I think I see a lot of HEAT areas around the perch-pins, looks like they took it apart to me.

It almost HAD TO come apart because of the bend being toward the FRONT. Even though the natural "bow" (offset) in a Ford I-beam would likely allow the wishbone to stand straight up while centering the kink under the ram, the kink would have been facing DOWN, opposite of the direction the KINK needed to be pressed. That turned out pretty nice. Looks good.

The whole system is pretty simple. But one little thing makes issues down the road at 60.

Nice work!

That is a unique press in that you have room to hang things down on both sides - not like any press I've ever seen, but perfect for this job! You're lucky to have a place with that equipment - never seen one in the States.
