I need to pull the heads off my big 59a with offenhauser heads , a friend was over and asked why I used the copper gaskets... I really didnt have an answer other than I used to work for an old flathead guy and that's what we used... Copper coat and copper gaskets

I guess my question is ... Is there a better option these days? And is there any validity to the " new" bolt torqung sequence speed way gives you for aluminum heads? Seems wierd to me...
