Battery cable routing for a 36
What is the best path to run the battery cable to the starter switch located between the pedals? Thanks, Ed

Re: Battery cable routing for a 36
It rests on the top of the frame rails with a bracket about 1/2 way between battery and starter switch that holds it stationary. Good drawing in 35-36 Ford Book by Don Rogers on P 95.

Re: Battery cable routing for a 36
Thanks Lawson, I saw the drawing but could not make the location from it. There is a small space on top of the rail near the clutch pedal and was wondering if it went there or through one of the frame holes. Do you have a pic of the correct layout? Ed

Re: Battery cable routing for a 36
I am going down to a guy's shop one day soon to take some pictures, and I will take a picture. I think the small place in the top of the frame rail you are talking about is a little indentation to keep the clutch pedal from hitting the frame. In theory that is. lol. There is plenty of room under the floorboard for the cable to not become impinged any way.

Re: Battery cable routing for a 36
Ed, Since I did the 35-36 Book I came across some great photos of a 36 Canadian demo chasis in good enough resolution to show detail. Here are some closeups showing battery to starter switch cable routing plus a photo of a starter cable and standoff bracket and grommet. Hope this helps.
