Default A Great Fathers Day

Started my day at a car show and finished up by taking my boys out and teaching the older one to drive he Merc, while the younger one handled photo duties from the back seat.

What's on my mind?,
More importently is what's on my heart right now. All of our kids who still live in Georgia, and most of the grandkids that live in Georgia came over to our house to have lunch and to celebrate Father's Day with me today. A granddaughter and her Mom couldn't make it because the granddaughter had to be in Statesboro, about 200 miles away, for College orientation for the upcoming year. She will be a Freshman next year.
The only one of our kids that did not ...make it was our middle kid, a daughter, Tyla Blom, who lives in Austin Texas, with her husband and 3 kids, and his three kids, but she called to wish me a Happy Father's day.
We probably see Tyla and her family about as much as we see the ones that still live here, because we go out at least once a year, and she and her family come here at least once a year. We all call each other several times a month.
The Lord has blessed Joyce and me so generously with a very close and loving extended family, and I cannot thank Him enough for being so wonderful and gracious to us over our 55 years of married life. Joyce and I love all of them so very much, in-laws and out-laws alike. LOL.

That's what it's all about.
