Default Max bore for a 37 block

I have a '37 block in my 36 that is a worn out 60 over. What is the recommended max bore for this engine without getting into major overheating problems? Thanks, Ed

'Ol Ron bored my '37 engine .125. It's demise was not related to the over bore, but to another issue that he had no control over.

Alot of those 37 engine were bored .125 That was a good stock car engine back in the day. The 37 had a lighter crank and with .125 bore and a good track cam and light flywheel that would really screem. I would bore a 36 and older engine over .060.
