What is and where does it go??
 I know or at least am fairly sure this is a distributor part can you help me?

It is not inside the distributor but in the oil pump drive. It is the bushing sleeve.

Brent, I am at a total loss on this, this bushing was in with the parts I took off with the distributor, does it fit in with the oil pump drive gear?

WOW that is an OH $%*# where do I start.
Have the engine together and timing dern close and it popped ran for 3-4 seconds I am happy but when by yourself and trying to inject either and operate all the levers and rods from under the hood jeez!!!! Last edited by Wisconsinjimmy; 10-11-2013 at 02:50 PM. Reason: Add another comment |

Go easy on the ether, its dangerous and cleans the oil off the rings/guides

Well it starts and idles on her own with no either or other help just have to give it a healthy choke and wide open throttle (wot). The brakes do not work, I am going to grease everything and see if that helps but it runs that is a big plus. Now I have to get all over the auction company to get me a title as it does have one. Thanks for the help
