Depends on were you live. If you are in Canada I'd say not. But if you live in Texas. Sure. "Anti-freeze" it's in the name.

Next time you have your heads off rod out the block with a long screw driver or a wire. Flush it. Make sure the radiator is good. People used to drive these engines across the country.
