Default 1934 left horn mount

The horn on my 34 standard had been changed at some point. The mount is not similar to the one pictured in the green book. It appears to be a cast piece with the bolt a part thereof. Is this familiar to anyone?

Are you sure that the piece below the two rivets is a casting and not a heavy stamping? The rivets look right as do the thin spring steel attachments to the horn itself and the bolt looks correct as well.

The mount and bolt are not separate. One piece.

Interesting and likely as you surmise, namely not original.

Possibly why the horn seems a bit "tippy."

Another picture. Mount and bolt all one piece. Actually a much nicer mount than the stamped steel original type, IMO. Wonder who would have made it as I believe the cost would have been higher to produce.
