Default Adjust Top Frame?

I'm going through and trying to sort out some of the minor issues with the new Mercury. One is the top frame. On the passenger side, when the top is up and latched with the pins on the windshield frame in the holes on the top frame, the frame is not completely open (which keeps the window from going all the way up). The drivers side does not have the same problem.

Anyone know why this is or, more importantly, how to fix it? Note: it does not currently have a power top.

There are 4 eccentric bolts on each side, they do all the adjustments, much harder with canvas on but you should be able to do it. Takes a little time but will work. I have a 48 Ford and same top. Regards, Rick

Ok, can you give me a hint on which bolts are the eccentric bolts and how they work? Thanks in advance.

For any others interested, here's the photo Rick sent me. The bolts marked with red are the eccentric bolts.

Ok, I started adjusting and made some progress. However, I discovered that one of the bolts (front) is not the right size. I suspect that's why that side is sagging.

Does anyone know who sells these eccentric bolts? Thanks in advance.

Scott, totally stainless sells complete sets but very expensive, I don't know if they will sell just one. I think they are located in Pa. Maybe someone on the Barn can give more info on them . Rick

Awesome, guys! You're the best. Rick, I tracked down the Totally Stainless catalog online and they have them for $20 apiece. That works for me.
