Chris,

Happy Birthday to your engine. Unless your frame has the matching number, you may be celebrating another birthday for the rest of your car.

My Coupe turned 90 this past February, and my Victoria will turn 90 next month. Next in line is me. I need to turn 90 with all of my marbles and freedom to move about in 2033! By then, both of my Model A's will be 102 years old.

You got me thinking- the engine number was re-stamped on a new block in 2012 so the actual age of the engine is unknown.

It does match the serial number on the title but I have not and will never raise the body to check frame number.

So I guess this birthday is entirely hypothetical.........

No crossmember assembly plant stamping visible on this car.
I scraped the paint off looking for it in 2009.

Murray Body firewall tag number is 141-156.
Does that number have any significance - maybe 14th week of 1931?

I've no idea about Murray body info, but I bet someone 'out there' does... Anybody?

Chris - Interesting, according to the MAFCA table, that body number prefix 141- belongs to a Briggs...

My 1930 155C Murray Town Sedan M604-11708 appears to line up correctly.

I will be 80 when 2 of my A's reach 100. They will make that okay, I just hope I can. The Australian Model A club of Victoria is to host that anniversary at Geelong where the A's were assembled in Australia. Whether or not I have a licence I intend to drive there assuming I am still drawing breath.

We celebrated the 100th birthday of our 1919 Model T a few years ago.
The motor number tells us that it was built on Henry Ford’s birthday.
The local newspaper did a story about it and it won the Best of Show award at a car show that had over 300 vehicles entered.
Not bad for an old lady!
