Default bought a '53 parts car still not best.

Needed a '53 right nose assembly-Deer hit on the good '53. Tough hunt for 70 yr old sheet metal. So you buy the whole car. A '53 Customline V8 OD 4dr. Still the right front on this car has been repaired ! Good title and formally maroon, from Idaho at one time. Will have some extras [or car] to sell MUCH later this yr. PM me if interested ?? Can I save the Chrome Grill ?? Newc

The drive train should be worth a bunch if it is good and and complete.

That looks to have a better body than the 52 Merc I drive. I'd have a hard time making a parts car of it. Looks to be the same "fanfare maroon" paint colour inside the doors. Also interesting to note that I hardly ever see one of these cars without a cracked or broken driver's side window.

I could be interested in the headlight rims, if they have the inner stainless liners. I would be interested even if they are dented / rusty. nick.

I’m guessing it’s “carnival red” and “sandpiper tan”. Looks like the 4-door parts car that I used the V8/Fordomatic driveline out of for my Ranch Wagon.

I have a friend with a 53 Ranch Wagon and he needs the overdrive lockout cable and associated brackets if they are available. (picture taken in front of Lambeau Field during the 2022 V8 Club National Driving Tour)
