'64 Falcon Futura convertible, a couple photos to share

Went to the local Costco today and randomly pulled into an empty parking space, right next to this car.

The original owner walked up as I was leaving and we talked for just a minute before I had to leave.
He bought it new from a local dealer that's still in business. 384,000 miles. Multiple trips to both coasts as well as Canada.
One repaint years ago, on its second new top and its third engine, was a 260 now a 289.
I would have liked to look under the hood but was late for an appointment.
