'31 std fordor ID(additional pics)
Dome lamp is oval(appropriate for a dlx fordor), and has a toggle(which doesn't look right) switch on the door pillar. Seems like an odd thing to add/modify. One of the window cranks looks more normal(but not the correct style?). "After May 1930, all closed models used fancier door and window hardware"(JS). This notes a change in the hardware visually, and not a change in the door mechanism, correct? The car has only had a couple owners(mainly lived in Iowa), so I didn't think it was altered too much.

Re: '31 std fordor ID(additional pics)
At the moment I have a one-car barn. In the process of making room for the new one. Now I need to make a decision on a '30 TS I am currently putting back together. Since the '31 will soon be a 'driver', am reconsidering my larger restoration project. Just want to avoid(years down the road) thinking "man, I wish I would have kept that town sedan!" Will likely find room at the family ranch(in barn), but if it's not right in front of me, it may never get reassembled.

Thanks Don. Will probably do both(enjoy and, in time, authenticate). Save a round dome lamp for me! Bruce

The door post switch plate is for a slide switch rather than a toggle switch. On the bottom side of the hex nut you can see the lower part of the rectangular cutout for the slide switch.
