Cool Horn question

I've never figured out who made my horn, and now I'm wondering if it's a repo.
It has never worked good, and I've always thought it was connections. I was putting new brushes and springs in , and the field terminals are spades that were between the inside of the nutted end of the brush holder, with the spring against the other side. Les Andrews shows a ring terminal between the outside nutted end and the insulating washer. My question is, we're any stock horns equipped with this spade terminal on the field to brush connections? Thanks
