40 Ford inner fender panel standalone location
Building a 40 pickup and I want to bolt on the inner fender panel for measurement purposes and to make a battery location.
My question is, on a 35 to 40 frame, there are two frame holes on the side of the front rails right before and after where the brake line goes over the frame rail to the front wheels. Are these holes the same on all 35-40 frames? I am using a 37 truck frame to the best of my knowledge. Thanks for any help you can give ...... |

Re: 40 Ford inner fender panel standalone location
I believe the forward most hole gets a bolt (with rubber washers) and the rearmost hole gets a rubber bumper.
Actually not sure about that. But yes, the 41 pu frames i have had did have those two holes. |

Will the 37 truck frames have the two holes in the same location? |

You don't see many '35-'40s with a 4-bar set-up. DD
