Default Original finish

Is the original exterior paint paint on a '35 enamel? How does it take to touching up?
i'vr got a few good sized scrapes by the trunk. and they are very distracting to the rest of the car. thanks, kevin

Original finish is probably cellulose lacquer. AACA folks will know for sure.

No, the original Ford finish is enamel. Early Ford V8 folks will know better than AACA.
