Default 3/8"X32 tap?

It appears the 38" rear main drain tube is a 32 thread count? I'm not seeing any tap that corresponds. I'm drilling out a 5/16" to use the bigger drain tube. Any ideas? TIA. Chuck

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought the larger later main cap used 1/8-npt threads......

Yes Steve you are Wrong. It is a 3/8 NEF thread and once retaped with a 1/8" NPT the cap is junk.
