Default Cadmium Plating

I’m wanting to clean an redo the heater hose brackets on my 40 deluxe. I’m assuming that they were cadmium plated originally. Is there a spray paint that simulates the cadmium plating and looks correct? These brackets were reproduced but all the vendors are out of stock. Looking for suggestions.

Ken I use silver grille paint from Lowe’s. Can’t remember brand but will let you know. I like it for bolts etc.

Ken if you aren’t in a hurry send them to me and I’ll have them plated in our next batch of cadmium.

Besides Third Gen's offer, ever tried "Cad in a Can"?
Look for Special Purpose Krylon Metallic #1403 Dull Aluminum.
Pretty close to the plating color.

Hard to find as the last time i had to order it over the World Wide Web.

I use “VHT HIGH TEMPERATURE” flame proof spray. Fast dry, durable, looks like low sheen cad. I have used it on various bumper mount fittings, fog light fittings and such. Started using it as fast dry primer but found it looks better than the paint I wanted to use and have been using it ever since.
