Default Ford Hi-Compression Head Dated 1936

Ok, I have one more "A" head which is mold dated 1936 which has the same looks as the Police Heads that I have that are cracked. Are they from the same mold, and the same Compression as the Police ones.. No "B" on it .. And its not a 1932 Head..

1936 model a service head,stock combustion chambers..does your '36 head have heart shaped chambers?

Yes, It is all the same in and out as the Police Head, except for the date marked on the top & No "B".. Also No #s or Script as your show. I have several of them..

So the business side looks like this? nice.The 1936 service head I have is a stock A design,it appears to be a better quality casting than an original Rouge head..if you have the heart chambers you have some period speed gold brother.

You will probably find the Model B gasket matches the combustion chamber better.

Do you mean the Standard 32-34 Model B Gasket ?? The same one used on the Police Head ??.. Would this head also be the same compression of 5:22 like the Police Head..

Yes on the gasket but compare it. Can't help on the compression question.

I have compared the Best graphite combustion chamber shape and they are the same. Difference only the 2 vent holes between cylinders 2 and 3. 509 is the number for the graphtite A gasket.

Can you measure the volume of the police head you have and compare to the head your asking about? That will tell you if the ratio is the same.
