Remove the sealed beams and see what remains of the original (reflectors, wiring, etc), then ck what you just observed against a pictorial in most vendor's catalogs to see what you need to order.

I am using everything stock except for the bulbs--- 35watt bulbs-- never battery low using stock generator-, original sockets and reflectors---- it not so much the wattage, my halogens take less amps than seal beams--- focus is very important, many aftermarket halogen systems don't focus

Will check to see what is left inside the light. Kurt, where did you get your 35 watt bulbs?

I use sealed beam halogens, 12V alternator. Available at any auto parts store. Swapped the earlier sealed beam sockets for heavier duty sold by Snyders several years ago--not sure if that was necessary, but seemed like a prudent idea and not expensive.

Once you commit to an alternator, isn't the authenticity war lost? Why extend the inconvenience by sticking with 6V?
