Default Lap blanket or lap robe

An Auctioneer friend gave me a Model A blanket that came into his auction last week. The big box was full of Model A stuff. The blanket was tagged by the seller as Model A rumble Seat Blanket.. Need to know if someone has a PIC or the measurements. What does the HEM look like. It is 100% wool. This one is 54in.x70in. Brown in color.Hem is 1in. Very heavy. 5 to 6 lbs. Thank s RAY

The Ford Motor Company mentions lap blankets in one or two of their letters to the Branches, but I have never seen a Ford drawing, specification or a proven original blanket. Some sedans have a blanket hanging rope across the back of the front seat.

Hopefully, someone with facts will educate us.

We kept from FREEZING in old cars by using War Surplus Wool Navy Blankets.
On Old Route 66, around Tucumcari, New Mexico, the COLD wind howls like a BANSHEE!!

I have knotted ropes on both sides of Vermin, to assist me in getting IN/OUT.

A couple of the clubs sell Model A robes as fund raisers and they are amazing at a very reasonable price! Wayne
