I'm 59 and had a stroke a year ago. That week in IC was the scariest thing I've ever been through, more so for my wife and kids. A year of heavy therapy and I'm probably 85% recovered. I now watch my "numbers" very carefully on blood sugar, blood pressure, and weight. Recovery does happen, with love and support.

Too young for that kind of issue in her life, best to your family for a full recovery. Stroke recovery is a journey, not an event. Be patient, there is so much beyond your control right now.

You have mine . I can sympathize with you my, as my daughter suffered a stroke 2 days short of her 18th birthday , 10 years ago. She just received PHD in ED PSY. Hang in there.
