I replaced my windows a number of years ago in my 35 FORDOR Sedan and recorded everything I could think of in a word file.

If you wish I will send it as an email attachment as I tried but was not able to on the forum.

i had to do this last month as the gear mechanism(regulator) had slipped(worn holding plate) and the window was at an angle and cracked(see pic below next post) so,with window in down position remove the roller(stud) guide that runs in radious slot it is on the window glass channell, then raise window fully up remove 8 mounting bolts you can now slide off the 2 raising arms from the window channel by moving left and right, leave mechanism in bottom of door for a mo,the glass and channell can now be removed as one by tilting window upwards, with window garnish surround removed!,then re centre window drive put 2 bolts back to hold, and wind mechanism until arms are parallel (horizontal) turn whole mechanism upside down in door, the window handle drive can be brought out first wiggle mechanism thru the door hole.

Looks interesting - is that offset in the locating groove the mechanism that moves the window back before it moves it down?

Mart.
