Default if you could go back in time, what Model "A" parts would you bring back?

sure our money would not match but you guys would overcome that. and you would not necessarily go to 1928-31 since parts were abundant through at least the '30s at the same prices.

I'm guessing spark plugs, "accessories", '28-'29 radiator shells, Electrolocks?

If you brought back a car off the showroom floor you would depress the Fine Point Judging group.

I know exactly where you are coming from. It's easy to get wistful looking at those shiny cars on the dealers' showroom floors, knowing how well they operated as new vehicles.

The metal tire cover depicted in the service bulletins, some Unity Sport Lights with closed car brackets, some 1930-'31 fenders lights, a couple of sets of 1930-'31 fenders, at least 2 sets of 1931 running boards, a half dozen 1930-'31 radiators, a half dozen vacuum windshield wiper motors for a 1930-'31 closed car, a couple of gallons of Chickle & Copra Drab paints, 3"x5" original color samples of all domestic & foreign body paints, a set of all branch letters, one each of every owner's manual, and a complete set of service bulletins from 1903 thru 1954.

Being primarily an early guy, I would grab as many open bail light switches, on-off-dim light/horn rods, Ford script slant pole coils, upper script fluted headlight lenses, Ford script drum tail lamps, wide bezel speedometers, early hubcaps, script ignition keys, script terminal box covers, wiring looms, radiator hoses, door check straps, red steering wheels, and all of the tire valve stems I could get!

Realistically , for me the majority of what I am in need of is already here (majority)
But my wish list would start with either a Cragar, McDowell, Green or other DOHC
head that would bolt directly to an A or B block..... Not too big of a wish !

On page 277 in the Service Bulletins reprint is a picture of this new spare tyre cover . Many years ago I acquired the outer only . It was NOS and was found when a Ford main dealer building was being demolished in Manchester England it was in a long disused loft along with other sheet metal including a NOS 31 welled front fender which luckily I also got .This cover has a stainless band not plated with a neat red on gold transfer "Made in Canada" .Been looking for many years for the inner but no luck that is one thing I would certainly bring back .

John in same place same weather .

A plain old Model J (who'd want one of those? ) cost as much as $19,000. Modern paper money won't be any good in 1928-31. Probably best to take gold back with you. At the then-current statutory price of $20.67 per troy ounce, you'll need about 65 pounds. Or I suppose you could just steal the Duesy. The statute of limitations will have run out by the time you get back.

Yep - Travelers Wagon, Taxi, Town Car Delivery, Special Delivery, Deluxe Closed Cab, Australian Open Cab "Ute", just about any AA...the list goes on. Yeah, I like commercials and they are rarer than passenger cars.
