I've got enough projects, so I bought mine from Luke Balogh up in Canada. (Luke's Custom Machine, Vancouver) The shield on the two bearings says 1628RS.

Interesting that the ID of those bearings are 5/8".

That's a nice looking piece. Well worth whatever it cost, I am sure. The shaft dia. of the 8RT pulley is 5/8 in. The shaft for the shaft dia of the car is a smaller, I believe. |

1948: Smart move. That chunk of aluminum alone would be at least $100, not to mention the labor and time. Money well spent.
