Default Is this 59A flathead part available?

I own a 1940 Ford tudor with a C59A motor.

On the Clutch side of the block, there is a “cup” that accepts the starter shaft as it engages the flywheel.

Is this “cup” available as a separate part? Mine has been worn through in the area closest to the ground (likely from too many unpaved Canadian roads).

No parts catalogue I've seen shows it as a separate part. Bob Drake's response was that it is not available as a replacement. Do I need to find a dead block and remove it, (unlikely since the availability of parts here is pretty slim), or has someone out there have one that they smartly knocked out as insurance?

Not part of the block, it is part of the Oil pan. Some people fab them, but you should be able to find one.

I saw one fashioned from an old soup can. Kinda "Rat-Rod" but it worked.
