Default Need 1936 Ford Radio Head Parts/where can I order from?

Just thought I would see if any one knows where you get:

Radio Face Plate Glass for a 1936 Radio Head?

Radio Head bezel gasket for 1936 Radio Head?

Gaskets for radio tuner knob and on/off volume switch for 1936 Radio Head?

I checked Mac's, Bob Drakes, Dennis Carpenter, C&G Ford on line, did not find any.

Any one know who is currently selling these items?

Thanks in advance!!

The short answer - no one. For gaskets, you will need to make them. As for the glass window, no one is reproducing them. However, I had a couple made up in plastic by a guy who makes up antique radio dials. They are a good replacement but they are not glass and can be easily scratch if you are not careful.

For glass, it has been suggested by others that you try a clock repair shop. They often can match or order a piece that would fit.

That's a good idea. If you can find a dash gauge the same diameter you could rob the glass from it.

If the glass is flat, I'm sure you can find a proper sized piece. I have repaired several compression and vacuum gauges, and was always able to find the proper sized glass on the internet. The variety of sizes available is mind blowing. If it is curved, it might be a little more difficult, but there is a lot available out there.

Not flat.Years ago the glass was reproduced as I bought one from Drake.Seems to me as though the glass was thicker than the gauges.Try the Early Ford Store in San Dimas,CA and not on line.Personal call is better.909-305-1955.

At one time Sacramento Vintage Ford had them. It might be worth a call to see if they might have one on the shelf.

The on off switch on the volume control is next to impossible to find. They were very poorly designed to carry the 5 to 7 amp load of these old tube radios require. Sometimes you can make one work temporally with some of the old tuner cleaner [carbon tetrachloride] but it is hard to find, as it is on the EPA list. You can always put a switch in the power line from ignition switch. That is what some do as a desperation fix.

STEVE IN DENVER is the one pictured above (In the center0 the one you had made for 35-36?

I have ONE of those lenses, if I can locate it. I have no use for it.
