Day out in the 33
We went out for the day in the 33, 202 miles
We went up to an old mining town called Mt Morgan, if you look it up it has quite a history, one thing it did was supply the $$ to start BP , then called the anglo Persian oil co. We had a club meeting there, to get to Mt Morgan we had to drive over the range ,which bought out the speed demon in the 33, the tyres sure protested ,but we had fun. Instead of just coming back down the hi way after the meeting, we went home the long way via Dululu and Biloela, what great names, through farm country and lots of sorghum . The 33 went good and we had a great drive, all on back country roads, we and the 33 loved it. Lawrie |

Driving them with friends and family is the best part of this hobby for me. Thanks for the pictures, sounds like a great time.

Read your article in the V8 Times. Very good trip. Did you get the other engines fixed?

Lawrie exploring the Queensland countryside in his 1933 Ford Fordor Sedan. The country is looking nice and green after our recent rain. Happy cruising. |

Re: Day out in the 33
Awesome Lawrie . Love it , get out and enjoy and create great memories. We just came back from a week away in our 32 3W . Had a real blast with good buddies on the road, though our roads are much more convoluted and give the kidneys a good exercise .

Re: Day out in the 33
You probably have to watch for the stray kangaroo like we do deer here. Great stuff!
