What is the thread size and pitch on a front wheel spindle that tightens to front bearings, I need too purchase a die to chase the treads.

If the threads are damaged I would suggest using a thread chaser not a die. A die will remove more material and weaken the thread further.

I am in total agreement. Too many people use a tap or dye to chase threads. I was taught at a early age to use thread chasers.

Again thank you, on the die chaser for the treads. I have a couple of spindles that I am re-bushing with new king pins as a spare on long tours. Just in case needed. Not that I have but I know of 2 instances where our club needed a spindle over the years. Keith
